Digital planning is chicken soup for the soul! It’s an effective tool for being organized and yet ironically, you can invest countless hours just setting it up. But that feeling of accomplishment makes it all worthwhile! It’s as if it speaks to my inner child on some level… because rearranging the stickers and playing with the colored markers can be therapeutic, if not productive!

Let’s just say that when I discovered how satisfying it was to organize digital calendar pages on my iPad, and then write and doodle on them – I was hooked! But I still hesitated to jump on that bandwagon, not knowing what I didn’t yet know about this industry.
For starters, I had been a paper planner-user for business purposes my entire life. I shouldn’t admit this, but… I’m THAT girl who would shop for hours in the planner aisle of a certain big box office supply store, trying to decide which refills and leather cover to buy for my Franklin planner! Who can relate? 😂
So fast forward all these years, and now we have iPads, digital tablets and smart phones with large screens. And Apple Pencils! All great tools for digital planning. I even searched Instagram and discovered – it’s a “thing” – who knew? #digitalplanners
But what sealed the deal for me?
Tiny works of art that are AFFORDABLE enough that I could become addicted without breaking the bank. Entire sets of stickers that come in every theme you can imagine. Endless hours of unaccountable time if you turn off your screen time tracker. 😄
But wait. There’s MORE.
There are digital planner APPS – like GoodNotes – which I’m in love with! And there are digital planner pages you load on the digital planner apps. And THEN you add digital planner stickers on the digital pages. And THEN you write digitally all over everything with different colors of different sized digital pens and mark it all up with highlighters!
Oh – make a mistake? Clear the last entry or entire page and start over! Ah, it’s pure genius! Not to mention addicting!
There’s a reason there’s a hashtag for #digitalplanneraddicts!
So this artist couldn’t resist climbing on board this digital trend by turning my artwork into charming digital stickers. I’m all in and now you know why. 😁
