Gardening for 2023 has begun! 😊 I spent HOURS in my happy place yesterday thinning the sunflowers and pumpkins which sprouted from last year. Needless to say, we will have an even thicker “sunflower forest” this year! I made some room for planting this year’s harvest, which will be much smaller than in years past. I’m just too old and broken to take care of a large garden anymore! 😆 This year we will enjoy carrots, lettuce, spinach, squash, cucumbers, potatoes, corn, raspberries and pumpkins. I haven’t had much luck with corn here, so we shall see what happens. No tomatoes, peppers, green beans or sugar peas this year… but as my husband says, I can buy them at the store. 🤪 I had an umbrella over the chairs and Sammy was sitting in the shade before I took these pictures, but the winds picked up and blew away the umbrella. We can’t have nice things because of the wind. LOL
